A good old fashioned county fair feels like the perfect family outing and a chance at a nostalgic rendezvous with childhood. This event is an 11-day celebration of community, youth competition, arena entertainment, and fair fun for all – like rides, food, exhibits, and entertainment. Opening – A Doll’s House Part 2 by Lucas Hnath
Stageworks Theatre, Tampa

When you cast 3 producing artistic directors in one classic play’s updated sequel, it’s a pretty sure bet that what you get is pure excellence. Stageworks PAD, Karla Hartley, joins Tampa Rep PAD, Emilia Sargent, and Peter Callender, PAD of the African-American Shakespeare Company, for this production of the award winning sequel to Ibsen’s classic, A Doll’s House. And just a wonderful bonus – this production is directed by former American Stage PAD, Stephanie Gularte! It’s sure to be a very popular show, so get your tickets now!

His love is shown by hosting vibrant and enthusiastic themes shows that invite artists from all mediums, new and seasoned, to come out and play. I’ve loved every moment of being a part of Chad’s community and forever grateful for the opportunities he’s provided me.” Mize recently announced the year end closing of the brick & mortar dimension of his arts odyssey, but will continue to develop programs and events.

The Colored Museum, a satire, takes us on a journey through eleven “exhibits” that illuminate African American stereotypes old and new, and return to the powerful soul and spirit of what it means to be African American citizens. Directed by Keith Artur Bolden – 1988 NAACP Image Award Winner

2022 Kenwood BungalowFest  – Renovations & Restorations Home Tour

Historic Kenwood Neighborhood Association

The Historic Kenwood Neighborhood Association hosts this highly anticipated home tour, returning for its 24th season. This year’s experience explores architectural diversity and showcases 11 homes. Renovations & Restorations will feature Craftsman Bungalows, Tudor, Ranch and Mid-Century Modern homes and a very special tour of Historic St. Petersburg High School recently completely restored. The tour also includes public art throughout Historic Kenwood, gardens, and invited artists’ works displayed in tour homes.

MCD Collective celebrates twenty-five years of presenting dance in the Tampa Bay Area with an evening of exciting of dance and film. The concert features highlights of the 2022-23 NewGrounds Dance Film Collection and dances by some of Tampa’s finest choreographers and performers. Artists include films by Christian Alsan, Dionne & Andy Noble, Tiffany Rhynard, Holly Wilder; and dances choreographed by Erin Cardinal & Brian Fidalgo II, Cindy Hennessy, Jeanne Travers, and Elsa Valbuena.
