One of my favorite moments of this Gasparilla season was Saturday night’s Gasparilla on the Gulf gala at the Fenway Hotel, a festive evening supporting Random Acts of Flowers Tampa Bay. The pirate theme set a fun tone, but the heart of the night was the mission — delivering repurposed bouquets to patients in healthcare facilities across our community.

My favorite part was watching the video that included messages from those who had received flowers, as well as their family members. It was so heartwarming to hear the joy in their voices and be reminded how a simple gesture of flowers can make such a big difference.

It was a beautiful night that captured what I love most about our community: celebrating together while supporting a cause that brings real comfort and kindness to others.
