The Best Thing You Can Do Today: Dine out to help homeless youth
Going out to eat in St. Petersburg on 10/7 or 10/8? Your meal can make an impact that lasts long beyond the holiday weekend via the Eat, Drink and Do Good campaign.
Six of St. Pete’s best restaurants are taking part, donating 10 percent of food proceeds to Family Resources, which has been providing shelter and care for homeless youth in Pinellas for 47 years.
Four restaurants are participating both Sunday and Monday: Bella Brava, FarmTable Cucina, Sea Salt and Stillwaters Tavern. Two restaurants — Chief’s Creole Cafe and Queenshead — are taking part on Sunday only. (They’re closed Mondays.)
Follow the links to find out the restaurants’ hours and be sure to ask about any special Eat, Drink and Do Good deals; Sea Salt and Chief’s Creole, for instance, are offering some very tasty-sounding prix fixe menus.
