Many in the Tampa Bay theater scene were shocked earlier this month to hear that Stephanie Gularte, the dynamic producing artistic director of American Stage, would be stepping down due to health reasons.
Tonight, in the latest edition of the theater’s Zoom series Creative Conversations, “Leading Through Personal Crisis,” she’ll talk about her decision with Beth Houghton, CEO of the Juvenile Welfare Board.
Houghton, a longtime supporter of the theater, knows more than a little about transitions: She took the top spot at JWB last year after eight years as CEO of the St. Petersburg Free Clinic in 2011.
Mon. 8/24, 6-7 p.m., free. Register at americanstage.org.
