Honor the lives lost to domestic violence and commit to prevention through the powerful stories of the Frieda Widera Silent Witness Project​

This unveiling takes place on October 1 — the first day of Domestic Violence Awareness Month,

a time for communities nationwide to come together in remembrance, advocacy, and action.

🕊 We also recognize that this day falls during Yom Kippur, a sacred time of reflection, atonement, and renewal. The mission of the Frieda Widera Silent Witness Project — to remember lives lost, acknowledge harm, and inspire change — reflects these same values of truth, responsibility, and transformation.
