    With a cast of 81 performers ranging from age 3 to adult, this inclusive performance of The Nutracker celebrates the joy, talent, and dedication of students across Tampa Bay. Founder and Director Orlando Peña has created something magical, blending tradition with innovation to deliver a production that radiates energy and community spirit. This year’s Nutcracker features an extraordinary lineup of guest artists. International dancer Esnel Ramos returns as Cavalier, bringing experience from Cuba’s National Ballet and Les Grands Ballets Canadiens. Virginia Archer will perform as Sugar Plum, a Tampa-trained dancer and instructor at Ovations. Roddy Doble, former American Ballet Theatre and Boston Ballet soloist, joins as Snow King. Isabella Archer, a Youth America Grand Prix award-winner and Ovations instructor, makes her debut as Snow Queen. Ukrainian folk dance specialists Andrian and Nazar Kadykalo will electrify the stage in the character dance Trepak. Showtimes are at 1pm and 6pm

    The Gasparilla Music Foundation is a Florida 501(c)-3 non-profit corporation that organizes an annual music festival in Tampa and supports music education through its Recycled Tunes program. The 2026 festival takes place the weekend of April 10 – 12 at Meridian Fields located at 101 S Meridian Ave. situated between the Water Street Tampa District, the Channel District and Ybor City featuring musical acts from a wide variety of genres on several stages and cuisine from the region’s top restaurants. As part of its mission to support and promote music and education, the organization operates throughout the year providing musical instruments, repairs and equipment to local school music programs and paid performance opportunities for local musicians. The Gasparilla Music Foundation was founded in 2011 with financial support from many Tampa Bay area based businesses and the organization’s founding members, The Ring of Fire.
