TBU Fundraiser Tampa Bay United is proud to announce its inaugural golf tournament, set to take place on Monday, June 2, 2025, at the prestigious Eagles Golf Course in Tampa, Florida. 50% of all money raised through the golf tournament will provide children from families with demonstrated financial need the opportunity to play soccer, while the remaining 50% will go toward Tampa Bay United’s general fund. Tampa Bay United has long been a cornerstone of the community, nurturing young talent and offering opportunities for athletes of all ages. The event, which promises a day of friendly competition and community support, is made possible by the generous partnership of AdventHealth, who is the presenting sponsor for the tournament. The Tampa Bay Orchid Society will host its upcoming orchid auction on June 20, 2026, at Good Shep-herd Lutheran Church, offering plant enthusiasts and collectors the opportunity to bid on more than 250 orchids and related items. Experienced and favored by all, auctioneer Laura Newton is both entertaining and informative. Come for a good time and leave with beautiful plants. The auction will feature a wide selection of plants for both experienced growers and those new to orchid collecting. Attendees will have the chance to browse and bid on a diverse assortment of orchids, including unique varieties and plants suitable for a range of growing conditions. Plant preview starts at 9:30 am. The City of Tampa is celebrating America’s 250th anniversary with one of the largest Fourth of July events in Tampa Bay — Liberty by the Bay at Julian B. Lane Park.
