Cadillac Crew

The Studio @620

On the day of a much-anticipated speech by Rosa Parks during the height of the Civil Rights Movement, four activists working in a Virginia civil rights office ponder whether the proclamation of equality amongst mankind includes women. With remarkable insight and unexpected humor, Cadillac Crew, written by Tori Sampson, reclaims the stories of the forgotten leaders who blazed the trail for desegregation and women’s rights, asking: when will the world be ready to embrace women in all their capacity? From the Civil Rights Movement to the present day, Cadillac Crew illuminates these forgotten leaders and explores what happens when Black women refuse to be written out of history.

Run for All Children

Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital

The 12th Annual Run for All Children is a family-friendly, race benefitting the patients and families at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital. The starting line for this certified, chip timed 5K and 1-mile run will be in front of the main hospital, with a beautiful course along the downtown St Petersburg waterfront and ends back at Johns Hopkins All Children's where there will be a post-race Finish Line Fest. A kids' dash will take place near the finish line area. The inaugural race was held in 2014, born from founder Brian Powers’ desire to make a difference in the lives of children and their families after experiencing firsthand the positive impact offered by the dedicated staff and volunteers of a neonatal intensive care unit. The 12th annual Run for All Children will once again draw participants from throughout the region. All proceeds from the Run for All Children go to the areas of greatest need at All Children’s Hospital.
