More than just a fundraising walk, the American Cancer Society Relay For Life brings together passionate supporters who embody the American Cancer Society vision to end cancer as we know it, for everyone. This volunteer-led experience unites communities to celebrate cancer survivors, remember loved ones lost to cancer, and raise funds to improve the lives of people with cancer and their families through advocacy, research, and patient support to ensure everyone has an opportunity to prevent, detect, treat, and survive cancer. Although each Relay For Life event embraces the uniqueness of the home community, every event does have the same four signature elements: a celebration of cancer survivors, a celebration of caregivers, a luminaria ceremony to honor and remember loved ones, and the opportunity to fight back against cancer.

The Cinderella Ball is an annual black-tie optional fundraising dinner and auction for the Foundation. Proceeds from this event benefit the many programs of the Pasco Education Foundation, such as scholarships, creative teaching grants, and recognition events for students and district employees

For over two decades, Fashion Funds the Cure has been delighting audiences and giving children battling cancer the experience of a lifetime on the runway while raising critical funds and awareness for pediatric cancer research. This nationwide runway tour shares the story of local children battling cancer and weaves their dreams for the future into a high-fashion, upscale event.

Each season, St. Pete Opera employs hundreds of brillant singers, musicians, designers, dancers and talented support staff to realize our vision of artistic excellence. Through our education and community engagement programs, we educate thousands of local school children and entertain 10,000+ area residents with our mainstage operas, concerts and educational initiatives. The FARA Energy Ball is a high-energy gala that brings together hundreds of supporters to raise funds for critical research into Friedreich’s ataxia (FA). Guests will enjoy delicious food, drinks, dancing and entertainment — all while supporting a worthy cause. The event also features a silent and live auction, with proceeds benefiting FARA’s research programs and the USF Health Ataxia Research Center.
