Our Annual Gala celebration is our single greatest opportunity to raise awareness and the yearly funds that sustain our spinal and brain injury recovery program. Held every September, the night is meant to highlight the achievements of our amazing clients, acknowledge the tireless efforts of our staff and recognize the contributions that others have made to support our program. We are veteran founded, run and operated. Our clients are both Veterans and civilians of all ages.

This sensational event dedicated to raising funds for the LWVI Foundation will take place on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at Armature Works. The evening will feature a lively cocktail reception, a gourmet seated dinner, thrilling live and silent auctions, and captivating entertainment that will transport you to the golden age of speakeasies. Previous years’ tickets have sold quickly, so be sure to secure your spot early for this much-anticipated celebration. The Apogee Awards is a unique awards program created by Tampa Bay Business & Wealth magazine to recognize distinguished C-Suite leaders whose dedication to their industries and communities deserves particular recognition. The Apogee Awards will honor executives in a variety of leadership roles representing Pasco, Pinellas, Polk, Hillsborough, Manatee and Sarasota counties: Nominees will be sent a nomination packet to fill out and return. The packets will be assessed during a judging session with an outside panel. Packets are required for consideration in the awards program. Finalists will be revealed following the judging session. TBBW staff has no say in who is named a finalist and who is named a winner in their respective category. Last year, 97% of the kids in our program went on to the next grade level and 99% had no involvement with the juvenile justice system.
