Tampa Riverfest Presented by Publix Super Markets Riverfest is a public, two-day, FREE event that is held the first weekend in May each year. The festival spans the entire length of the Riverwalk including several parks and features family-friendly activities and events showcasing Tampa's cultural institutions, local musicians and restaurants. The festival includes Taste of Riverwalk on Friday night and Taco Fest on Saturday. There is also a full concert series of regional and local bands on the main stage in Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park and a balloon glow at sunset on both nights. Gulfport’s Get Rescued Animal Rescue Festival & Fun-raiser returns for its 22nd year on Saturday, February 28, 2026, from 10am to 5pm at Beach Boulevard S in Gulfport, Florida. The event will feature: • Up to 50 animal rescue groups • Pet friendly vendors featuring animal related products, crafts, artwork and other curious treats • Pet care education • Animal training demos • The Florida Weiner Dog Derby • Fun-raising raffles • Local shops, restaurants and more All leashed people and well-behaved pets are welcome.
