Serving Up Hope
Grab a paddle and let’s rally for a good cause! Join us on the court for an exhilarating evening of pickleball action in our annual tournament. Space is limited to 30 teams (60 players) over 10 courts. There will be King of the Hill play segmented into skill level, so there’s a place for everyone to smash, lob, and dink their way to victory—all while making a positive impact. So grab your paddle, gather your team, and let’s serve up hope together!
LiFT Your Spirits 2026
Save the Date for the 2026 LiFT Your Spirits at the Derby May 2, 2026 at the St. Petersburg Coliseum This fantastic and fun evening benefiting Learning Independence For Tomorrow (LiFT FL) is a Kentucky Derby-themed party on May 2, 2026 from 5-11pm at the Coliseum in St. Petersburg, FL! Join us for a night of celebration including a Derby attire contest, incredible chance drawings, custom cocktails, delicious cuisine, and exclusive silent and live auction items! All proceeds will benefit the students of LiFT Academy and the LiFT University Transition program.

Tampa Riverfest
Tampa Riverfest Presented by Publix Super Markets Riverfest is a public, two-day, FREE event that is held the first weekend in May each year. The festival spans the entire length of the Riverwalk including several parks and features family-friendly activities and events showcasing Tampa's cultural institutions, local musicians and restaurants. The festival includes Taste of Riverwalk on Friday night and Taco Fest on Saturday. There is also a full concert series of regional and local bands on the main stage in Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park and a balloon glow at sunset on both nights. Other activities include a wiener dog derby, a lantern parade, yoga, a water ski show and a paddle invasion. Food.
Mommy & Me High Tea: Redefining Refuge
Features include hot and cold teas served in vintage crockery, tea sandwiches and delectable desserts, a fashion show featuring clothing for women and children, princess experiences, photo opportunities, live entertainment, fun craft experiences for you and your children and a silent auction benefiting Redefining Refuge. Come dressed in your finest tea chic attire, hats, fascinators, gloves and pretty dresses are encouraged! Your admission includes a keepsake photo of you and your little one, princess meet and greets, cookie decorating, mini beauty treatments, shopping experiences, a fashion show, hot and cold teas, tea sandwiches, scones and dessert. We are thrilled to announce that this year’s beneficiary will be a local Tampa Non-Profit, Redefining Refuge. This very worthy Cause is hard at work daily in our Community fighting the injustice of Child Trafficking ** Please note that this subject will at no time be broached during the event, but information will be privately and readily available to you as a parent upon request. We; along with our Partner organization believe that empowering young girls now, and strengthening families is one of the best ways to prevent children from becoming potentially vulnerable victims in the future.

This signature event supports the Student Scholarship Program at Academy Prep, a nationally accredited, tuition-free middle school that empowers promising students qualifying for need-based scholarships. Good Samaritan Health Clinic of Pasco will recognize the contribution of nurses to the health of Pasco County during National Nurses Week, May 6 – May 12, 2026. The focal point of the evening’s festivities once again is the announcement of several categories of Nurse of the Year.from local Pasco County hospitals, health facilities, medical practices and home health organizations.
