The St. Petersburg Coliseum was transformed into a Derby-inspired celebration on May 2, 2026, as guests gathered for LiFT Your Spirits at the Derby Presented by City Wide — an unforgettable evening benefiting Learning Independence For Tomorrow (LiFT FL).
The Kentucky Derby-themed event welcomed supporters from across Tampa Bay for a night filled with custom cocktails, incredible cuisine, lively entertainment, exciting auction experiences, and, of course, standout Derby fashion.
More than just a festive evening, the event served an important purpose: raising funds and awareness for LiFT Academy and the LiFT University Transition Program, organizations dedicated to empowering individuals with neurodiversity through exceptional education, career readiness, life skills training, and community support.
Founded in 2013, LiFT has become a powerful force for inclusion and opportunity within Tampa Bay. The organization’s mission is simple yet impactful: to inspire and empower people with neurodiversity to learn, thrive, and succeed.
Throughout the evening, attendees came together in support of students and families while celebrating the importance of equal opportunities, meaningful connections, and embracing neurodiversity as a strength.
From the elegant Derby attire contest to the silent and live auction moments, LiFT Your Spirits at the Derby once again showcased the incredible impact that community-driven events can have throughout Tampa Bay.
