Registry Tampa Bay

What started as a simple Saturday morning run became something much more meaningful.

This past weekend, members of the Tampa Bay community gathered for Dreams & Caffeine, a collaboration between 727FIT, Children’s Dream Fund for Professionals, St. Pete Running Company, and Registry Tampa Bay. Participants chose between a 1, 2, or 3-mile run before coming together over coffee, conversation, and community.

Following the run, guests enjoyed specialty coffee—including a crowd-favorite Orange Vanilla Latte—and heard from local entrepreneur Alex Plotkin, who shared his journey of building successful businesses while emphasizing the importance of perseverance, purpose, and giving back.

While the miles were rewarding, the true purpose of the morning was supporting the Children’s Dream Fund, a Tampa Bay nonprofit that has been making dreams come true for children with life-threatening illnesses since 1981.

This year’s event benefited Dreamer Mia, reminding everyone in attendance that even a simple morning spent moving, connecting, and showing up for one another can have a lasting impact on a local family.

727FIT is about building a community that lifts one another up. Dreams & Caffeine was a perfect reflection of that mission, bringing together people of all ages and fitness levels in support of something bigger than themselves.

To everyone who ran, walked, donated, volunteered, sponsored, or simply showed up, thank you. Your support helped turn an ordinary Saturday morning into an opportunity to create hope, connection, and unforgettable memories for a child who deserves them most.
