Summer may officially be over for the students and it’s back-to-school time, but before we completely move on, I thought I’d share a few of my absolute favorite books from the summer.

And in full transparency, when I say “books,” I mostly mean audiobooks. I simply cannot give up valuable needlepoint time to actually hold a book! So listening while stitching has become my version of summer reading—and really, year-round reading.

Here are a few that kept me happily listening (and stitching!) this summer:

Whether you’re back in the school-year routine, commuting, walking, cleaning out a closet—or, like me, working your way through a needlepoint canvas—these are a few worth adding to your list.
