Arts Alive! Free Museum Day
Museums throughout St. Pete
This is a wonderful opportunity to take the whole family to the museum! Luckily, St. Pete has some world class ones, and they’ve waived admission for Pinellas County residents for the day. As you can imagine, this is a very popular event, so it is advisable to contact the museum ahead of time to reserve your spot. Several have specific procedures. Here are the participating museums:

Cracker Country Museum Day
Florida State Fairgrounds, Tampa
Here is a free museum day offering for the whole family in Tampa. The Cracker Country Museum offers a unique look at rural Florida history. Tour the historic buildings (general store, train depot, school house, etc.). Make a beeswax candle and other hands-on activities while listening to the live bluegrass band. It’s a lovely step back in time that you’re sure to enjoy.

West St. Pete CommUNITY Picnic
Azalea Park, St. Pete
The goal of this free event is simply to bring people together. It is open to the public, and your leashed fur babies are welcome. Some of the ‘Burg’s best food trucks will be there along with yard games, a balloon artist, a bike rodeo, and DJ. St. Pete Police and Fire Rescue will be on hand with a motorcycle unit, SWAT truck, and firetruck for hands on demos. There will also be K-9 unit and birds of prey demonstrations. Bring your donation of non-perishable food items or pet food and meet all your neighbors! It billed to be the largest event of its kind.
