99 Bottles Juror’s Reception
Florida CraftArt Gallery, DTSP
99 Bottles is an exhibition that takes a fresh look at one of the most familiar and functional forms—the bottle. While bottles are designed to carry liquids, they also carry layered meanings: symbols of celebration, preservation, indulgence, healing, or even memory. This exhibition invites artists to explore the bottle not just as a vessel, but as a powerful metaphor, reimagined through the lens of contemporary fine craft. Florida CraftArt is honored to host guest juror Rachel Rearick, Executive Director of Contemporary Craft in Pittsburgh, at the Juror’s Reception for 99 Bottles

Tampa Bay Rays vs. Miami Marlins
George Steinbrenner Field, Tampa
Don’t miss an opportunity to celebrate the retirement of Ray’s legendary #3, Evan Longoria, as he signs a one-day contract to become a Ray once again. A pre-game ceremony will honor Longoria’s retirement as a Ray and his decade long contribution to the Rays transformation in 2008 and beyond.
“Evan Longoria embodies what it means to be a Tampa Bay Ray. From the moment he stepped on the field, he brought excellence, leadership and a competitive spirit that shaped the identity of this franchise,” Rays principal owner Stuart Sternberg said in a statement. “He, more than anyone, helped transform the Devil Rays into the Rays, and we are honored to welcome him home as he retires in the uniform where it all began.”
Longoria said he “always wanted to retire a Ray, in some way or another,” which is part of the reason he didn’t officially retire even when he didn’t play last season. Don’t miss it!
