Opening Preview – All My Sons by Arthur Miller – Tampa Repertory Theatre
USF Theater Center, Tampa

Courtesy of Tampa Rep

Recipient of the Tony Award and New York Drama Critics Circle Award for Best Play, Arthur Miller’s electrifying American classic centers on two families, the Kellers and the Deevers. During World War II, Joe Keller and Steve Deever ran a machine shop which made airplane parts. Deever was sent to prison because the firm turned out defective parts, causing the deaths of many men, yet Keller went free and made a lot of money. The play thrillingly examines the conflict between familial and social responsibility, as well as individual morality, liability, culpability and guilt.
The preview show has discounted tickets starting at $11.00. Tomorrow’s opening night features a cocktail party.

This original musical explores the genius of L. Frank Baum and his complicated relationship with his most famous creation, the Land of Oz. This is the story of a dreamer at the dawn of a new age who reinvented the fairy tale in a distinctly American way, painting an idealized and magical vision of a world where witches might be good, and what you’re seeking is already inside you.
