Hoffman School of the Arts at Ruth Eckerd Hall presents the award-winning musical Forever Plaid performed by the school’s alumni students and directed by Marcia P. Hoffman School of the Arts Drama Department Chair Jack Holloway with musical direction by Music Department Chair Yohance Wicks. In Forever Plaid, four young singers, Sparky, Smudge, Jinx and Frankie, posthumously take the stage for one final gig in this charming musical trip through the beloved music of the 1950s.

The band first formed in Los Angeles in 1983 and quickly gained a following large enough to sell 300,000 copies of their debut self-titled album. It’s an epic Pride Parade VIP party IN THE HEART of Downtown St. Pete, hosted by Denmon Pearlman Law. The theme this year is 70’s hippie style! StarrinFor this very special Pride Weekend, Tampa Bay’s Rocky Horror Live Cast: Hell On Heels will be hosting 2 Hybrid Events, screening the Iconic Rocky Horror film with live festivities/performances to enhance this fantastic cult classic. Aweethearts Brad (Barry Bostwick) and Janet (Susan Sarandon), stuck with a flat tire during a storm, discover the eerie mansion of Dr. Frank-N-Furter (Tim Curry), a transvestite scientist. As their innocence is lost, Brad and Janet meet a houseful of wild characters, including a rocking biker (Meat Loaf) and a creepy butler (Richard O’Brien). Through elaborate dances and rock songs, Frank-N-Furter unveils his latest creation: a muscular man named “Rocky.”
