It’s a true LOL comedy. The Marcia P. Hoffman School of the Arts at Ruth Eckerd Hall presents the award-winning musical Forever Plaid performed by the school’s alumni students and directed by Marcia P. Hoffman School of the Arts Drama Department Chair Jack Holloway with musical direction by Music Department Chair Yohance Wicks. In Forever Plaid, four young singers, Sparky, Smudge, Jinx and Frankie, posthumously take the stage for one final gig in this charming musical trip through the beloved music of the 1950s.

Red Hot Chilli Peppers w/ Ice Cube & Irontom: Unlimited Love Tour

To many, the Red Hot Chilli Peppers are more than just a Los Angeles rock band from the ’80s — they’re musical pioneers who took the world by storm with their eclectic blend of funky, alternative punk rock laced with hip-hop that sounded unlike anything anyone had heard before. The band first formed in Los Angeles in 1983 and quickly gained a following large enough to sell 300,000 copies of their debut self-titled album. Over the next few years, the band experimented with different musical genres and went through lineup changes, proving themselves to be one of the most innovative and resilient rock groups in recent history.

St. Pete Pride Parade Day Festival

The festival, held on June 22nd, from 2pm-10pm, in North and South Straub parks will host a variety of local vendors and food trucks, Glamstand front row parade seating, beverage gardens, multiple stages, family area, and more! Make sure to check back for event maps and updates!
The Parade route will run from Albert Whitted Park to Vinoy Park along Bayshore Drive, stepping off at 6pm. Leading up to the Parade, will start in Vinoy Park at 5:30pm.

St. Pete Pride Parade

This year’s parade will start by Al Lang Stadium and travel along Bayshore Dr, filled with colorful floats, marching groups, and tons of swag along the route. Come cheer on your favorite local community orgs, spread joy, and take part in Florida’s Largest LGBTQIA+ Celebration. Get your confetti, Pride flags, and dancing shoes ready as over 100 groups march the parade route coming together for an unforgettable celebration of inclusion, representation, and visibility!  Grab your crew and get set to show that world that in Florida love always wins!

St. Pete Pride Parade VIP Party
Museum of Fine Arts, DTSP

 

It’s an epic Pride Parade VIP party IN THE HEART of Downtown St. Pete, hosted by Denmon Pearlman Law. The theme this year is 70’s hippie style! Celebrate our LGBTQIA+ community at the Museum of Fine Arts, off Beach Drive NE in downtown St. Petersburg, right along the parade route and steps from Pride’s main stage.
Your VIP admission includes:

  • Front-row terrace view of the Pride Parade

The Rocky Horror Picture Show – PRIDE Edition

StarrinFor this very special Pride Weekend, Tampa Bay’s Rocky Horror Live Cast: Hell On Heels will be hosting 2 Hybrid Events, screening the Iconic Rocky Horror film with live festivities/performances to enhance this fantastic cult classic. Aweethearts Brad (Barry Bostwick) and Janet (Susan Sarandon), stuck with a flat tire during a storm, discover the eerie mansion of Dr. Frank-N-Furter (Tim Curry), a transvestite scientist. As their innocence is lost, Brad and Janet meet a houseful of wild characters, including a rocking biker (Meat Loaf) and a creepy butler (Richard O’Brien). Through elaborate dances and rock songs, Frank-N-Furter unveils his latest creation: a muscular man named “Rocky.”
