The Pink Unicorn – Presented by Story Keepers
The Studio @620 & The Werk Gallery

This affirming, lovely play has been touring around neighborhoods, presented in living rooms and back yards to great attention and acclaim. This weekend The Pink Unicorn comes to two beloved venues so that more people may enjoy its powerful message.  The Pink Unicorn follows Trisha Lee, a Christian widow doing her best to hold her small Texas world together when her child comes out as genderqueer and starts a Gay-Straight Alliance at school. The town erupts. Her church revolts. Her family fractures. And Trisha? She has to decide what love really means when it costs you something. Told with biting humor, southern warmth, and startling vulnerability, this story is a hand-extended in the dark — asking us to walk beside someone we may not fully understand yet.

Thursday & Friday, January 29th & 30 – Studio @620
Saturday & Sunday, January 31st & February 1st

God of Carnage Presented by Tampa Repertory Theatre
HCC Performing Arts Center – Studio Theatre, Tampa

God of Carnage

This dark comedy is a Best Play Tony winner and, though the premise is simple enough, the conflict that erupts between the main characters represents an analysis of much larger societal issues and questions. If you’re looking for compelling theater with thought provoking and finely crafted dialogue, this show id definitely for you!
“Two sets of parents come together to discuss the misbehavior of their children and are reminded that people don’t necessarily become more civilized just because they grow up. We’re excited to share this comedy of manners – without the manners.”

Producing Artistic Director, TampaRep

Gasparilla Pirate Fest
Downtown Tampa Waterfront & Other Sites, Tampa

Gasparilla is Tampa’s signature event, celebrated annually since 1904 and hosted by Ye Mystic Krewe of Gasparilla. The Jose Gasparilla II, carrying hundreds of fierce pirates, sails to Tampa in search of the Key to the City. The ship and its accompanying flotilla travel north across the Bay and into Seddon Channel before they come ashore at the Tampa Convention Center. Once reaching their destination, our favorite scallywags will raise the flags, mark their territory, and take the Gasparilla celebration on land. The ensuing parade is followed by the Pirate Fest celebration(s) put on by The Seminole Hardrock. It’s an amazing day that only Tampa Bay can claim! Here is a guide by Fox 13 that gives more details about navigating the events.

That’s the idea behind the NHL’s annual outdoor games: the Winter Classic, Stadium Series and Heritage Classic, the latter of which is returning during the 2026-27 season. The Winter Classic typically kicks off the fun at the beginning of the calendar year, with the Stadium Series taking place shortly after.

The Boston Bruins and Tampa Bay Lightning will face off in the 2026 edition of the Stadium Series on Sunday, Feb. 1, at 6:30 p.m. from Raymond James Stadium. Typically played in February or early March. It is distinct from the Winter Classic and Heritage Classic, focusing on modern designs and
technology. The series began in 2014 and has seen various matchups.
The next game will feature the Boston Bruins and Tampa Bay Lightning on February 1, 2026, right here at Raymond James Stadium. There are a number of associated events throughout the week. Get details below.
