Lab Theatre Project, Ybor City
Sweden 1889. A young man named Per Nilsson collaborated with his domineering mother in the gruesome murder of his young wife. His mother was found guilty of the murder and beheaded. Per was declared insane and institutionalized at The Konradsberg Lunatic Asylum in Stockholm. Now Per must struggle with the ghosts that torment him every night in his cell as he attempts by day to convince the psychiatrist and the staff that he is sane and should be released. Will Per return to a normal life, or will he succumb to the ghosts keeping him at the asylum?

The Museum of the American Arts & Crafts Movement, DTSP
MAACM celebrates 3 years of bringing us a most stunning collection of art, furniture, lamps, pottery, glass, and more from the Arts & Crafts period of the early 20th Century. This includes pieces by famed architect Frank Lloyd Wright. Check out the museum this weekend and receive discounts on admission and in the Art Cafe, which has some of the most delicious food in the city – no lie. It’s an under-discovered culinary delight. Coastal Creative, St. Pete
Everyone needs a good laugh and Coastal Creative gives us plenty of opportunity to get our funny bone on. Max Manticof is a Latino standup comedian, writer, and actor born and raised in Queens, NY. Known for his wildly popular “Street Talk Comedy” which has since produced 100 shows, 5 Annual Comedy for Cancer Charity benefit events, and raised over 30k for his community. He was featured on Just For Laughs New Faces 23′, Amazon Prime’s “Basement Yard” with host Joe Santagato, “Lyft Comics” on Kevin Hart’s LOL Network, and most recently the Netflix is a Joke Festival 24′.

Opening Night – Howl-O-Scream

It’s the 25th anniversary of one of the coolest, scariest, immersive Halloween experiences in Tampa Bay – voted #2 Best Theme Park by USA Today’s 10 Best Halloween Theme Parks Readers Choice Awards. Nothing says Fall is on the way like the start of Halloween happenings, and if you go earlier in the season, your wait times will be significantly reduced (to make up for the heat). This year’s theme is Zombies in Vegas, or Sin City Zombies. So, if you like having the bejesus scared out of you, this is your chance!

Hoods up Week
Tampa Bay Automobile Museum, Pinellas Park
Registry Tampa Bay has a long tradition of covering all things auto industry. The Tampa Bay Automobile Museum features the pioneering front wheel drive and rear engine cars from the 1920’s and 1930’s that played an important part in the evolution of the automobile Well, this popular and exciting week-long event offers visitors the opportunity to explore the mechanics of the unique collection of cars by seeing under the hoods. **Bonus Event* Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Washington Commanders
Raymond James Stadium. Tampa
For me, this is the foretelling of Fall – the start of the NFL season, in particular, the Bucs. Our Bucs open at home against an opponent that they should beat – but, of course, that’s why they play the games. Kick-off is mercifully in the later afternoon in an effort to mitigate the heat, but that wouldn’t stop me! Being at an NFL game is the absolute best escape from reality there is. Cheer on our Bucs this Sunday.
