Come to Pinewood Cultural Park (Home of The Florida Botanical Gardens and the Gallery at Creative Pinellas), for the launch of iMAGiNE NATiON, presented by the Woodson African American Museum of Florida and Creative Pinellas. The exhibit is curated by Danny Olda, who also serves as Marketing and Communications Manager for the Woodson African American Museum of Florida. Step into the vibrant world of iBOMS, where imagination transforms into a limitless landscape of ideas and creations. Through graphite, spray paint, resin, and more, iBOMS redefines imagination as a lifelong force shaping knowledge, art, and culture. Don’t miss this inspiring evening to celebrate creativity and meet the artist behind this extraordinary exhibition. Event is free

St. Petersburg Seafood & Music Festival

Every February Williams Park comes alive with the huge market, concert, art show, playground, and food mecca, that is Localtopia. It’s the kind of thing you really have to see for yourself to get the full picture of just how big and much anticipated this event has become – of course you probably already know judging by the number of people that show up. Every conceivable local business, artist, food vendor, and musician makes a home of Williams Park for the day and it’s a great time for the whole family, and the Sunrunner is free all day. When you spend local, your dollars stay local!

49th Annual SPIFFS International Folk Festival

For almost a half century, SPIFFS has brought this colorful, flavorful, educational, and entertaining celebration of so many world cultures right here to Tampa Bay. It’s really something special and needs to be experienced. We could all use a bit more exposure to the many countries we call neighbors.  SPIFFS is the only independent multi-ethnic organization of its kind in the United States. It was founded in 1975 as an umbrella organization of ethnic groups who joined together to present a festival during the U.S. Bicentennial Celebration. SPIFFS has been recognized by the Library of Congress and is found in its Local Legacies in Washington, D.C.

Art & Seafood on the Waterfront

Art & Seafood on the Waterfronthas quickly become the Safety Harbor Chamber’s signature event. Showcasing the area’s best seafood, a Shrimp Showdown competition, juried fine art from over 50 national artists, interactive art activities, kids’ zone, entertainment for all ages and a full music stage, there is something for everyone.
Headliners: The Fulcos (Saturday) and Greg Billings and The Stay Up Lates (Sunday).
General admission to the event is FREE and the festival is DOG-FRIENDLY!

An unparallelled Collection of Works from the Studio of iconic American Artist Peter Max will be on exhibit and available for purchase at Syd Entel Galleries this weekend. In his extraordinary artistic career, Peter Max has been the Official Artist of the Grammys, The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, 5 Super Bowls, World Cup USA, The World Series, and so many more iconic events. I used to collect Peter Max posters as a kid. I sure wish I still had them!
