June is Pride Month, and it all gets started in the ultra-cool and quirky hamlet that is Gulfport. This free, family-friendly festival celebrates diversity and promotes equality while raising funds for two vital organizations: the Sonia Plotnick Women’s Health Fund and the Gulfport Kiwanis Club. Gulfport Pride has proudly donated more than $15,000 to charitable organizations since its inception in 2021. In addition to 130+ local makers and small businesses, many businesses along Beach and Shore boulevards are planning live music, “fun-raisers,” and more fun and games. There’s even a local business décor contest! Plus 2 main stages and of course, a marching band.

MAACM Family Day: Fantastic Fairy Tales (Free w/ Admission)

It’s a perfect way to get the kids to love going to the museum! Join in for a fun-filled day exploring myths, legends and tall tales this month while touring our Children’s Gallery, constructing your own fairy tale-inspired portraits and dioramas in the studio, and take a special visit the MAACM Library to see classic illustrations and books that delighted children at the turn of the twentieth century. Safety Harbor Food & Music Festival (FREE General Admission)
Safety Harbor City Park Baseball Fields, Safety Harbor

It’s a day full of family fun in Safety Harbor’s beautiful waterfront City Park. Even your fur babies are welcome. The day starts with the “Kick in the Grass” kickball tournament (9am), and then after noon, the live music, concessions, bounce house and playground will keep you entertained all day. Craft beer, liquor, and VIP experience is available. A portion of the proceeds benefit Clearwater for Youth.

Pinellas County’s oldest museum is on the St. Pete Pier. The Museum of History has been bringing the community together to learn and understand our past for over 100 years.
Made up of 30+ vendors from across St. Pete and Tampa Bay, this family-friendly event highlights the local businesses that have created a community where equity and inclusion for all residents and visitors is celebrated. Admission is free while you shop local LGBTQIA+ businesses and explore the Museum’s historic galleries.
