Everyone needs a loveable curmudgeon fix, and the late Neil Simon obliges with a comedy gem. The story follows the attempt by a young theatrical agent to re-unite his elderly uncle, a former vaudevillian great, with his long-time stage partner for a TV reunion. Despite their celebrated reputation, the two old men have not spoken in twelve years. Besides remastering their sketch, the two men have numerous issues to work out before they are ready to return to the public eye.

Serbian Festival in Clearwater is an annual festival organized by the Serbian community in the Tampa Bay area.  The festival is a unique opportunity for the entire family to come out and have a fun, exciting, and totally different weekend. You will have a chance to immerse yourself in the irreplaceable experience starting with Serbian world-famous cuisine, imported drinks, and skillful folklore dancers followed by old country tunes.

The Festival of Trees is a cherished tradition in the Tampa Bay area that marks the beginning of the holiday season. Join in the celebration at the Long Center in Clearwater and immerse yourself in a winter wonderland, adorned with meticulously decorated trees contributed by many members of our Tampa Bay community. If you’re very lucky, you get to take one home! I am lucky enough to own a table top NYC-themed tree from this event. It’s so much fun and it’s for a good cause. Proceeds benefit the Arc Tampa Bay Foundation. serving people with I/DD.

Still Shining Movies & Music Series
Spa Beach, DTSP

Enjoy Spa Beach at the St Pete Pier for a weekend celebration of resilience, community, and the beauty of St. Petersburg! The Still Shining Music & Movies Series invites you to enjoy a lineup of 9 curated films and 5 fantastic bands, all set against the stunning backdrop of Spa Beach’s sandy shores. This event is a testament to St. Pete’s enduring spirit, showcasing that we are still shining bright, even after recent hurricanes.

**Also, be sure to check out the FESTIVAL of NEEDS at Horan Park on St. Pete Beach on Saturday @5pm. It’s a fun filled event that will help support Families that were affected by Hurricanes Helene and Milton. There will be nonprofits attending like the Kind Mouse, that will be giving essential items to our local friends most affected by the hurricane.

Here’s a chance to experience even more world culture. You experienced Serbia (see above), now let’s travel to India. This wonderful international event has recorded over 12,000 visitors each year. With many exhibitors and food stalls, IndiaFest is Florida’s largest festival of arts and dances. All proceeds generated at this event are invested back into the community to promote youth education and maintain the Indian Heritage; a culture that is known worldwide for its music, festivals and dances.

Victorian Christmas Stroll

It’s one of Tampa Bay’s loveliest traditions. The Victorian Christmas Stroll celebrates the warmth and spirit of an old-fashioned holiday, while encouraging a sense of community. Complimentary cider and cookies will be served on the veranda each day while holiday music floats through the air. Guests can enjoy live music on weekend evenings from 6 pm – 7:45 pm, and enjoy shopping in a Victorian atmosphere in the Museum Store to find that perfect gift and unique treasure for the season.
