Editor’s Note: For the 2021 edition of duPont Registry Tampa Bay’s Health & Happiness Issue, we asked an assortment of funny people “What makes you laugh?” Karla Hartley‘s sly sense of humor is familiar to anyone who’s seen her perform, watched a show she’s directed, or listened to one of her curtain speeches at Stageworks. She sent us her answers to what makes her laugh back in April, but I suspect if we asked her today she’d want to add another item to the list: Stageworks’ comedy The Lady from Havana, which runs June 4-20.
