Hey, we couldn’t not draw attention to a singer named DuPont, right?

But the important thing about Ms. DuPont is not her name but her talent. A mezzo-soprano known to St. Pete  Opera audiences from Suor Angelica and Pinocchio, she’s the latest singer to be showcased in the company’s online Artist Recital Series, which gives eight performers the opportunity to recount their personal journeys through song.  See why DuPont likes “Music with an Edge” in this charming video promo.

Other themes in the series include “A Soprano Gone Mad” and “All About That Bass,” and you can purchase a ticket to a single performance or get all eight for the price of seven. Tickets will be available online until Dec. 31.
